Welcome to my little corner of the Internet!

Who am I? John Nolley II, obviously--but more than likely you don't already know me, so that doesn't mean a whole lot. This website tells more than you'd ever really want to know about me, from my interests to my favorite recipes.

News!

Chateau Papillon

Beth and I recently bought a home, which we've dubbed "Chateau Papillon." Follow more on our renovations and personalizations in my blog.

John and Beth at the Wedding

John and Beth Get Married

After a year and a half of engagement, I married Beth on June 21, 2005 in a kooky, completely non-traditional tropical wedding celebration at the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA.

We planned and carried out most of the ceremony and reception ourselves (with much help from friends and family), and I know I speak for Beth when I say we both really enjoyed the event.

Read more about the wedding or visit JohnAndBeth.org for more information.

Didi Joins the Fauniferous Zoo!

I brought little Didi home April 30th, and she's the cutest and newest member of our family. Long-time readers of this site may recall my mention of wanting one day to have a Papillon, and now that dream has come true.

John's new little girl, Didi!

We met Didi's breeder Elisa Kamens of LeBijou Papillons the day after Didi was born at the Metropolitan Washington Papillon Specialty Show in February. We know how hard it was for Elisa to part with our little Didi!

Didi enjoys a moment of peace in the busy life of a Papillon

John and Beth in LA for Star Wars: Episode III

We went out to Los Angeles for the charity premier of Revenge of the Sith a week before the film opened to audiences worldwide.

John and Beth's Star Wars Ad

The film completes the story of the rise, fall, and redemption of Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader. As the "last" Star Wars film (fingers crossed that George might one day decide to add the subsequent chapters VII-XII he had once planned), I really wanted to see the premier where the saga began: in Los Angeles, which meant either standing in line for weeks, paying exorbitant eBay prices, or donating to charity, so I saved up enough to send Beth and myself to L.A. to see the charity premier.

Visit my Star Wars section of this site for more.
